The link between cable and car is ensured by a patented Grip system under the vehicle. Here also, two different versions can be proposed.
The detachable grips open when entering a station, whereupon the cabins or cars are decelerated by the tires in the station, slowly moving the cabins or cars through the station for passenger entry and exit or else bringing them to a complete stop.One positive aspect of this system is that the cabins or cars can also be brought into a parking garage outside of operating hours or during off-peak hours with lower passenger flows. the garage is also the ideal location for cleaning and maintenance operations.

Fixed cable grips: the cabins or cars have a fixed connection with a traction cable on the drive station side, while on the side of the tensioning station, there is a "countercable" to compensate for the weight of the cable and to maintain constant tension. With jig-back operation, there are two cabins or cars, with one on one side departing while the other on the other side returning at the same time. There can also be the group aerial tramway which, instead of two large cabins, has two groups of small cabins attached to the cable directly behind one another.
Thanks to the fully automatic system, the equipment is very easy to operate and requires a minimal number of personnel, as neither in the vehicles nor in the stations is it necessary to have Operating nor Attending personnel.
